《空中英语教室》乃中级时尚美式英语刊物，荣获过“亚洲最佳英语教学奖”。我是一个英语学习爱好者，虽然英语老是不怎么的，但“爱好”，也常年不断接触着，挺有趣味的。

        《空中英语教室》和中央人民广播电台（CNRadio）联合推出“英语之夜”栏目，每天晚上9点开始，一个小时。9：30开始播放《空中英语教室》，一天一节（绝大多数课文会有2--3节），催着你天天接触英语。

       2006年11月13--14号将播出一篇文章，The Power of Blog .因为多少与“营销人博客”有关，我也没有讨得该杂志的同意-----如今也正在2007年杂志征订之时，我算以为它做一个广告来抵消“未授权刊发它的文字版权”的过错吧。毕竟，我很想让大家知道这个刊物对常年学习英语效果很好，毕竟，The Power of Blog ---应该让更多的人知道：

                                           --------------How much do blogs influence our lives

13号全英文讲解的课文如下：

     The years ago ,blogs were mostly just online diaries written by gossipy  teenagers.  Today, they are so mush more . Blogs have become a social force with the power to influence the media ,and even impact governments.

     Estimates put the number of bolgs on the Internet at anywhere between 10 to 32 million. Many of these are personal blogs that people use to keep in touch with their friends .But some are well-read coluumns on celebrities , politics and current events.

    Exactly how influential are these blogs? Just ask Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Some political experts say he owes his election victory to bloggers.

   In the months before the election, former Prime MInister Paul Martin was being investigated for a crime. The newspapers did not write anythiing about the investigation , nor was it shown on TV. BUt bloggers made sure the story was on the Web.If they had not done this ,would Mr.Martin still be Canada' s  Prime Minister? It's quite possible.

   哈哈哈哈，不习惯打英文，好累----别小看就只有四个小自然段，届时-----11月13号晚上9；30外籍老师（可能2--3个吧）讲会附加上大量的英文信息。没有一句中文，所以，最好讲上面四个自然段背下来，or 熟读x 遍，到时候就完全听得懂啦。哈哈，能录下来反复听，听它20遍，当然你的听力会提高得很快很快的啦。

   Blogs and reporters

  Studies show that 30 percent of Americans have read a blog at least once. Forty percent of Canadians have read them. Even if people do not read blogs regularly , they mighe still be indirectly affected by them .

  Studies show that many journalists are using blogs to get story ideas. If blogs are influencing mass media ,then they are influencing our lives.

  Now popole are starting to ask:Will blogging replace other forms of mass media?

 Media professionals don't think so.Most bloggers don't do firsthand  reporting.  Unlike reporters , they do not travel to the places or meet the people they write about . They rely on mass media for information for their blogs .In fact ,many blogs include links to well-known publications.

   BUt blogs might help improve the quality of other madia .Reporters are more careful about getting accurate information when they know bloggers will point out their mistakes.

    If information is power , then blogs give that power to us all.
